Report builder assist you to create reports in the system, whether it is for leads, opportunities, users, campaigns or so on. With report builder, you can create just about any kind of report. To create a report with the help of Report builder, simply click on “Report Builder” Option available in the drop-down list of the Reports Section.

1. Shuffle existing fields
If you want to change the place or order of the existing fields, then take the cursor of your mouse to the particular field and double click on it. After double clicking move it to the position at which you want to place the field.
2. Drag and drop to add fields to the report
If you wish to add more fields in your report other than the existing ones, then you can drag and drop the particular file from the list of the fields to the section where some fields are already present.
3. Search a particular field
If you wish to search a particular field from the entire list of field, then write the name of the field you want to search in the search box, located above the list of fields. When you insert the name of the field you are searching for, in the search column, the system will automatically displays the name of the field you are searching.
4. Remove Fields from Report
In addition to add a new field in the report, if you wish to remove any existing field from the report, then click on the arrow available at right hand corner of every section. When you click on this arrow, an option of “Remove Column” appears instantly that assist you to remove the field you have selected.
5. Remove All Columns
Other than deleting a specific column, if you want to delete entire columns from the report then click on “Remove All Columns” Option located above the report section. This option will help you easily delete the column from the list.
6. Add Filters in Record
Adding filters in the record is just like making a report in systematic format. To add filter in your record, click on “Add” button available next to the Filter Option and above the report section. With this option, you can filter your report as per your choice.
7. Add Search Filters
If you want to create your report with some specific parameters, then you can make use of search filters. For example, you want to create a report that only contains the accounts, which are assigned to a particular person.
